As kids, most of us were disciplined. At the time we thought of it as punishment. It was only later that we realized we actually learned something from it. We were less apt to make that same mistake again because we found there was a better way. God will discipline us even now. He is in control and is fighting the spiritual battles we all face. We can accept His discipline as teaching.
