The key word is moron. It’s when we say something like “I love you but I don’t care about your opinion!” Or – “Yes, I admit I was unfaithful, but I love you!” Life is uncertain – it’s true. But if we want to be loved, we need to put the other person first – not second. We have to listen to them. Not with just our ears, but with our whole heart focused on what they are expressing. In marriage, we have given vows to our spouse. Vow = promise. A promise kept means security for the spouse – for both of you, actually. And security in an uncertain world is like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
