Adult kids still living at home?

So your older child still needs his training wheels? It would be doing a disservice to them to demand they move on with their life. The sooner they realize how difficult it is to earn a living, the better. Otherwise, they lose self-esteem and they don’t learn anything from being pampered. On the other hand, to move out and get through those first few years of struggling to set a firm foundation behind them will strengthen them and motivate them to do even better. They will be proud instead of ashamed. My wife and I were so broke starting out, as I’m sure many of you were. But we made the tough choices to go without certain things and we realized we could.
