Have you had your identity stolen? Have you ever had someone commit fraud swiping your credit card number? There are systems available to protect us against that. Similarly, we have protection against Satan trying to steal peace from our mind. It’s called faith in God and His Word. God created all that makes us who we are – mind (thoughts, ideas, emotions) and body, and all wrapped up together in our soul. In the Garden of Eden, the serpent got into Eve’s mind by first tempting her that she, too, could be like God. Satan tries to steal our identity by telling us that a little sin here and a little sin there is no big deal. Doubt turns to a lack of trust and causes us to react to life in ways that are costly to our well being. The best security system is available to us at any time. It’s called the Bible, and it’s God’s workbook to know Him and to trust Him.
