There are two versions of me. What the world says I should be and what God sees in me. David says in Psalm 23 “I lack nothing.” But I always am doubting the truth of that. Culture wants me to look a certain way, believe in human understanding, but I find it wanting. When we dislike ourselves it gives Satan many doors and windows to open for us. We need to anchor ourselves in the bay of understanding, resting at peace in calm waters. With God at my right hand, I don’t need fake news about me from the world.
