Can we reason with pain?

Seldom does a bad headache just explode out of nowhere. It usually starts with a small, dull ache in your temple. If left untreated, however, it can become a full-blown migraine or cluster headache that has us writhing in pain. The key to overcoming it is to have it get our full attention when it first appears. There are many pain killers but few solutions without God’s help. He is there for us when we’re in pain. He wants to be with us when we are doing well, too. If we go toward Him he will come to us. Like greeting a good friend, you both move toward each other. When we seek God to heal our anger and bitterness, He can often prevent the pain from rising up again. He will never push you away. Our healing then allows us to comfort others who are experiencing the same pain we once went through.
