This rule is golden

Love your neighbor as yourself. Sometimes, that is difficult, right? True – it’s the epitome of the Golden Rule: do unto others as you would have them do unto you. But what if they don’t deserve good treatment like you do? We have all learned that love, as opposed to infatuation, is a decision – a choice. So we have to choose to overlook the other person’s faults. Actually, it starts with acknowledging our faults and learning to put others first. The next step would be to get to know them better. Once we do that, we usually learn we were wrong about many things. We also need to reach out as often as we can to pay love forward – especially in time of need, such as during the current pandemic. Let’s all seek to be golden!
