Maybe you saw the scene where Obi-wan Kenobi had to step out where there was nothing visible over a huge drop-off. Someone (Yoda?) told him to trust his next step – that he would not fall…..and he did. Not sure I would have…..you? There are times in our life when we must step up in a situation and take the next step – even if we’re not sure if it’s safe. We’re usually looking at the long road ahead instead of just the next step. Maybe that still, small voice says to stay. Stay, we must, then. It’s faith that God is in control and we can rest in that. Success comes from God – not from our own mind and strength. We need to be willing to sacrifice our own eager desires. Is God calling you to step out – or stay?
