So we want to improve, but we’re too lazy to do the hard work. Improving does start with a fresh mental outlook, but then we must go beyond that. Your mental breakthrough has to be about breaking free of the destructive habits that haunt us. Satan will say, “Oh, come on….it’s no big deal,” but it is. We must discover the purpose God has for us in our life – and that does not happen by chance. Think about what the “new” you will be like. Visualize that and begin working toward it. We must let go of our worldly passions and set an agenda for improvement to take place. More importantly, don’t let setbacks force you to revert to your old self. Only visualize your new purpose in life.
