Certain people have a knack for destroying a great idea. If you respond to every critic, more critics will suddenly appear to abuse you. We need to remove the negative people from our team. Instead, look for people with enthusiasm for the original idea. Maybe they’re not the most experienced in a certain area, but their energy becomes a catalyst for the entire team. When problems arise, many leaders seek to place blame, instead of redirecting the effort by just correcting the mess. Repeat your original idea to the entire team and enlist their support. Don’t be afraid of adding others to the team to enable this to happen. Never be afraid to ask for help.
