We often try to accomplish a goal or project by ourselves. After all, we’re the smartest and best, right? mmmm, how’s that working for you? It doesn’t work consistently for me. God gave us all certain talents, but through stubbornness we miss others. Great leaders build a team by surrounding themselves with people who add the missing skills to the team. This extra support is the strength we need to overcome the opposition that routinely hinders the team’s progress toward the objective. Others can help read the route ahead and delay or accelerate when the time is right. Two heads are better than one, right? We need to keep focused on the end result and not lose heart when problems arise. The original idea for the goal is everything – don’t let anyone dampen your enthusiasm.
