I remember a scene from one of the Star Wars movies where the protagonist had to step off the edge of a chasm. He had been told that an invisible force would be there to hold his weight at allow him to cross. He still had to believe that and step off. Our life is often like that. Only those who have risked have seen God’s power to uphold. Those who are afraid to take a chance don’t get to experience God’s power. The Christian church seems to have stagnated in parts of the world. God is in it for the long haul. It is His power that can bring revival if we do our part to step out in faith where He is working.
