That would be “probably not.” Yet they are authorized by God to lead. Paul says in Chapter 13 of Romans “Let every person be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.” When we don’t agree, we have the best solution in the world….a democratic republic. We throw out those who do not follow our Constitution. We have means set forth by our founders to adjudicate differences – all the way to the Supreme Court. If we don’t agree with the Supreme Court then we elect people to make the proper changes – even for the Constitution there is a process for change built in. But let’s not resort to violence. Let’s protest according to the example of Dr. Martin Luther King – peacefully.
