The Brand of The World

That would be SSS. Sensual, stuff and status. These three are driving the world toward its conclusion. The world is driven by its senses. They must be satisfied. Advertisers know this and appeal to all senses in getting us to change our behavior and buy their product….because we have to have more stuff. More toys for all ages. So we accumulate stuff hoping it will bring us the pleasure missing in our lives. When the last toy didn’t do it we buy more, or we travel to a different place hoping that will satisfy us. But it doesn’t because so many of us are empty inside. The last S is for status….something everyone seems to be striving for. At any cost it would seem. We need to realize that life is too short and none of the striving has any meaning. Love has meaning. Find it and you won’t have the branding iron hurt you any longer.
