Pain Is A Cornerstone

In politics, one party encourages their members to not let a crisis go to waste, but to seize it for their party’s gain. I don’t agree with that, but I do believe that our own pain can be managed and used for growth. God often uses pain to “tap us on the shoulder.” He is trying to get us to stop, look and listen to Him. Pain is inevitable – but suffering is avoidable. A painful time can be a time to cry out to God. We should admit our fears, be honest about our shortcomings, let out our anger and be honest about our feelings. God will accept all that and will teach us to realize we can always turn to Him through depending on Him. He will bring people into our life to comfort us. He will later bring others into your life whom we can comfort because of our persevering through pain and learning from it.
