….that you’re at the starting block in the Olympic 100 meter dash. The starter calls “Get Set” and your body is all coiled to explode off the blocks. That’s what we’re like in God’s eyes. We are ready to be used of God. He has prepared us and we are ready physically and mentally. We wish, don’t we? But God doesn’t expect us to always win. In His race, the winner doesn’t matter. Just that we run the race. Our power comes from Him. We can ready ourselves by lightening our emotional loads that hold us back. Toss out bitterness that divides, get rid of the hurts caused by others long ago. Let’s all start fresh – the starter is God and here comes the starting pistol.
