It’s been a while since I prepared a resume. Resumes should include the usual educational background and work experiences. It should also include references. Of course, nobody is going to put down one of their enemies as a reference – they will all be friends, no doubt. Is my character my life’s resume? It should be! If we have nourished our minds with good thoughts and experiences, anyone could describe us, if asked, as a person of good character. The bible teaches us that good fruit does not come from a bad tree – and vice versa. At the end of our life, I want my life’s resume to reflect good fruit grown in the worship of God.
