It’s difficult to see loved ones come down with dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease because our minds control so much of our ability to function. They lose touch with reality and a weakened body generally follows. God created us with mind, body and soul. The human mind is one of God’s greatest inventions. He also created us with freedom. Just like we can’t make someone love us….God wanted his creation to love him out of free will. So our will is part of our mind..,.and thoughts and the ideas that spring from them are what we have to propel us forward. The key is the right thoughts – correct? We need to feast our mind on the good, the noble, the humble and try to be more like them. Better thoughts = better ideas.
