What does it mean to have the mind of Christ. How is that even possible? Well, it’s not, but we can make progress in that direction. To have His mind would mean we have achieved perfection – and, of course, we know that is impossible. What it really means is to want to become the kind of person who, though tempted, would never take that plunge down the “rabbit hole” of sin. How? We must control our thoughts. Emotions are more difficult to control, but we CAN control the thoughts that emanate from them. We must set up a road block that says detour, and that detour takes bad thoughts off the cliff! Got gave us emotions for protection (fear, for example). But, more importantly, He gave us our minds – our ability to reason. Let’s never forget that and we can make progress toward having a mind like Christ.
