When we’re going through a storm in our life that’s not weather related it’s still good to remember God’s reference to troubles happening to all of us. Our problem is we come to God and cry out “Why me?” Instead, we should simply ask Him what we should do. Through prayer and listening. Ask Him to teach us through it all. He has allowed it to happen to continue to develop our posture toward righteousness. Though He never promised to keep us away from troubles, He did promise that He would never leave us or forsake us. We have to stop being in charge….it’s what got us into our mess, after all. We never know when the storm is coming, yet we need to keep living life and not fearing the unknown.
